In the first nine months, T.A.P. has grown from an idea to a reality. We now have many dedicated members. Recognition has been granted from the PA Fish & Boat Commission and other sportsmen's organizations. They have recognized T.A.P. for its dedication to live bait fishing and equal stream access for all. We will continue to promote, protect and preserve all waterways of PA.
Since March 21, 1994, the following has taken place:

Petitioned the PA Fish & Boat Commission stating opposition to over-regulation of fishable waters. (Examples: delayed harvest, fly fishing only, etc..) |

Donated $50 for membership to SCRIPT (Stonycreek/Conemaugh River Improvement Project). This project will restore fishing to waters damaged by acid mine drainage. |

Cambria County Geologist, Terry Kaltins, gave a presentation on area stream quality. |

*T.A.P. Memberships will run from June 1st to May 31st. $5 Adult, $2.50 Junior.
*The Greensburg Tribune Review, Johnstown Tribune Democrat and others have been most helpful. We have been getting membership requests from across the State.
*T.A.P. is working with the PA Fish & Boat Commission to add Kane Run (Cambria) to the list of approved trout waters.
*T.A.P. endorsed Dan Anderson of Meyersdale, PA as a candidate to the PA Fish & Boat Commission.
*T.A.P. along with the PA Fish & Boat Commission sponsored a fishing demonstration for kids and adults at the annual Portage Summerfest celebration.
*Candidates for PA State Representatives, Vince Golden and Gary Haluska, and U.S. Representative, Bill Choby, addressed the October meeting.
*T.A.P. was well represented at the PA Fish & Boat Commission regional workshop at Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, PA, September 17, 1994.

T.A.P. is currently selling hats for fund raising (Winter $6, Summer $5). |

T.A.P is seeking to join the Forest Hills Fish Co-op Nursery as an active participant. Fish raised are to be stocked in local streams. |

Our organization is planning a fishing derby for kids 12 and under at Kane Run on May 20, 1995. |

PA Afield Outdoor Magazine is scheduled to do an exclusive article about T.A.P. in February. T.A.P. is believed to be the first organization dedicated to live bait fishing. |
